Gateway Life to Merge with SAVVY

We’re pleased to share an important update about the future of Gateway Life.

Gateway Life and SAVVY have agreed to come together as one organisation, pending finalisation of relevant legal agreements. Like Gateway Life, SAVVY is a Wollongong-based allied health and fitness provider with a strong focus on high-quality, multidisciplinary services and genuine community connection.

What’s changing?

From 1 April 2026, Gateway Life and SAVVY will operate as a single organisation under a new brand. This integration brings together two like-minded teams to create a stronger, more connected community focused on movement, health, and whole-of-person wellbeing.

From this date, all programs and services will operate from the existing Gateway Life premises at 65-69 Keira Street, Wollongong.

What does this mean for members?

  • All existing memberships and benefits will be maintained for existing members
  • Members will be no worse off financially
  • The services and support members value today will continue
  • New opportunities and services will be introduced over time.

Further information about future membership offerings will be shared closer to April 2026.

Our people, together

As Gateway Life and SAVVY come together, so do our teams – clinicians, trainers, management, and support staff – united by shared values and a common commitment to member wellbeing.

Members will continue to be supported by the people they know and trust, alongside new team members who share the same focus on care, connection, and quality. By working as one team, we can strengthen relationships and deliver a more seamless, supportive experience for every member.

Expanded fitness and wellbeing experiences

Members will enjoy access to an expanded range of fitness and wellbeing services, including:

  • A purpose-built on-demand gym
  • Bio-circuit fitness equipment
  • Indoor and outdoor group classes
  • Pilates
  • Indoor cycling.

Clinical services will continue without disruption and will include physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, and dietetics.

Looking ahead

Together, Gateway Life and SAVVY will support more than 450 members, employ 40 staff, and deliver over 200 hours of clinical therapies each week. This combined organisation will be better positioned to invest in facilities, expand services, and continue delivering outstanding experiences for members and patients alike.

We’re proud of the communities that Gateway Life and SAVVY have built, and we’re excited about what we can achieve together.
